 Founded over 33 years ago by Gary & Linda Emmick, EMMICK
Enterprises has been an industry leader in engine and chassis design, development
and above all else, winning races. Gary pursued this dream of building the best
Karts in racing with an unparalleled passion and focus. Gary passed away on a
business trip to Florida several years ago. Although everyone at EMMICK misses
his presence dearly, the EMMICK tradition carries on with Linda and her son,
Ron.
Linda and Ron are both racing Champions. Linda has won many local and regional
races, as well as, an IKF Grand National Championship.
Ron has immeasurable credentials in Kart and Auto Racing. With 40 Duffies and
hundreds of local and club wins to his credit, Ron transitioned into car racing.
After winning the Class C World Challenge Series and the Elf Winfield School in
France, Ron became the "Top Rookie of the Year" in the prestigious Elf Formula 4
Series. Today, the Emmick grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also race
Karts.
This rich history is behind every EMMICK Racing Kart.
Over the years, many of today's Nascar and Indy Champions have grown up racing
EMMICK Karts -- Lake Speed, Jeff Gordon, Ernie Irvan, and even the legendary
Emerson Fittipaldi has spent time in the driver seat of an EMMICK Kart. Today the
latest member of the EMMICK all star team is Joey Hand. Joey and his father Les
Hand are local legends in Kart Racing. After winning seven duffies and countless
local and regional Kart Races, Joey moved up to cars becoming the Formula Mazda
Champion in 1999. He is now doing test drives in Indy, NASCAR, Indy light and
Busch cars. Look for Joey to become a world famous racer who can also credit his
development to driving EMMICK Race Karts.
